LIGHTBOWN, Dave We wish to thank everyone who attended Dave's service, sent flowers, cards, messages, the donations to STARS, those who brought food and gave hugs. Thank you to Dr. Singh and all the nurses in CCU and Unit 22 who treated him with such care and respect. A special thanks to the Heart Function Clinic who were my 'go to people' when in doubt. Thank you to Rev. Sandra Franklin-Law and St. Paul's Presbyterian Church for all your caring, prayers, help, and all the extra things you did; to the Law family for hosting at the church after the committal service and the assistance with the music; to the ushers who did a great job seating everyone; to Lorna Tink for the special music that said so much about Dave and his love of sports; to Maxine Whitehead and St.Paul's choir and the addition of some of the Gaetz United choir, you were amazing; to Donna Lightbown for her special solo - it was wonderful; to the St. Paul's Ladies group who always do such a great job providing the lunch and coffee, it was delicious; to Gord Mathers and his staff at the Parkland Funeral Home, you made this difficult time a little less difficult. To Ted and Audrey, Karen and Jim, Myrna and Pete, Garry and Donna, Murray and Susan, Dean and Cory - thank you for all the extra help before his passing and after the service.
