The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kenneth Hunley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Karen Larson
Condolence: Sending condolences to the family and close friends of Ken. Towards the end, I know he missed doing the things he enjoyed. We had fun on the dance floor, at cowboy poetry, breakfasts at Humpty's and at a rural rodeo. I will miss my friend.

Condolence From: Arlene and Ron Miller
Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear of Uncle Ken's passing away. I have many fond memories. The first that comes to mind is seeing him in uniform, holding hands with Aunt Helen Margaret, (when they were just sweethearts and not married yet) coming into Grandma Hunley's yard to talk to us kids that were playing under a tree there. He liked to tease us. In later years I lived hearing his cowboy poetry, at family reunions. As Loraine says, he is our last Uncle.

Condolence From: Loraine and Kent Liang
Condolence: Dear Cousins, Curtis, and Sherry, and your loved ones,
I am deeply saddened to learn just now of Uncle Ken's home going. Don Nagel saw the obituary write up in the Red Deer Advocate and has passed the sad news on to Ken's sister's (Dorothea) family.

We always enjoyed Uncle Ken's presence at Family Gatherings. His ready smile, and twinkling eyes made him fun to say hello to. We liked his cowboy poetry... and his relaxed mannerisms. He was the last of either of our parents siblings, so this marks the end of an era, for us too.

The years go quickly. May the memories you have sustain you through this time.

With our care, and sympathy,

Loraine and Kent
